European Reformation Research Group: The Reformation: 500 Years On.
Annual Meeting, University of Liverpool, August 31-September 1 2017
The 2017 ERRG meeting will take place August 31 – September 1 at the University of Liverpool. As always, we are inviting speakers to present on any topic related to the reformations and their wider impact. Given the year, and the 500-year anniversary of Luther’s Reformation, we are especially interested in papers which consider ‘The Reformation: 500 Years On’: how have Reformation Studies changed over the decades and where will we be going in the future?
Since 1991, ERRG has been one of the UK’s principal forums for postgraduates and researchers working on all aspects of the religious history of early modern Europe, including the British Isles. The conference is unthemed, and individuals are invited to give papers on any subject connected to their current research, as it relates to the European reformations broadly conceived.
The event will include a conference dinner and on-campus accommodation will be available. Conference costs will be kept to a minimum, in order to support the participation of postgraduate and early career researchers. To register for ERRG 2017, please click here.
